After more than two decades as founder and CEO of itm8, Henrik Kastbjerg is taking on a new role as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He will from now on focus on M&A, commercial strategy, brand positioning, and company culture. Frank Vium, current Chairman of the Board, will take over as interim CEO.

In 2003, Henrik Kastbjerg founded IT Relation and laid the foundation for itm8 – a leading Nordic digital transformation partner with over 1,700 employees. After 22 years at the forefront, he has decided to step down from day-to-day operations and continues as Vice Chairman of the Board.

I remain fully committed to supporting this development — just not as CEO," says Henrik Kastbjerg.

Frank Vium, who has served as Chairman of the Board for the past two and a half years, now assumes the role of interim CEO during the transition period.
"The collaboration between Henrik and me has been strong, and I look forward to continuing that in our new roles. I’m excited to bring my experience into the daily operations as we work to find the right long-term CEO for itm8," says Frank Vium.

itm8 has been owned by the private equity firm Axcel, in partnership with Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker and itm8’s management, since 2022. Commenting on the leadership change, Axcel Partner Christian Bamberger Bro says:

Christian Bamberger Bro will serve as interim Chairman of the Board until Frank Vium resumes the position upon the appointment of a new permanent CEO.
