itm8 strengthens Board with international tech profile

Dirk Didascalou, CTO at Siemens Digital Industries, joins the Board of Directors at itm8. He brings unique tech expertise to the board and will be a great support to itm8’s European expansion.

itm8 welcomes CTO at Siemens Digital Industries, Dirk Didascalou, to its Board of Directors. He joins a board of strong tech profiles headed by Chair Frank Vium, who has held leading roles at Microsoft and Nokia.

Gearing up for Germany

itm8 recently merged all its brands into one united company, grouping its expertise in four divisions: Cloud & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, and Application Services. The merger means that itm8 can now operate as a 360-degree IT partner to the customers who need it, while maintaining existing close customer collaborations and niche services. With the new united itm8, the group now has a strong foundation to expand into Germany and other European markets.

Dirk Didascalou has been the CTO at Siemens Digital Industries since 2021, and he has previously held positions as Vice President for Internet of Things at Amazon Web Services, Corporate Vice President for Technology & Research at Microsoft, and Senior Vice President for Mobile Phones R&D at Nokia.

Frank Vium has twenty years of experience in driving growth and transformation in technology-led companies. Today, he works as a professional board member, and he has previously held international leadership positions at Microsoft and Nokia.
